Sun 26 Apr - Grasmere and Rydal Circuit

Start Point: Grasmere School. Grid ref NY335 074 at 10.30.  Parking is £5 for 4 hours.  I was unable to find any free parking.  This used to be an honesty box but has now changed to pay and display meter operated by the Lake District National Park Authority.

Description: Starting from Grasmere village we head towards Dove Cottage along the coffin route to Rydal Mount.  From there we cross the A591 and walk around the shores of Rydal and Grasmere back to the village for a well deserved drink.  The garden centre has a nice café.
