Sun 4th Jul - Jack's Rake & The Langdale Pikes

Ascend Pavey Ark via Jack’s Rake, which is a grade 1 scramble. This route is exposed in some places and care and a good head for heights is essential. The walk continues to take in the tops of Harrison Stickle and Pike of Stickle. The decent is by the path next to Dungeon Ghyll. Evening meal at the pub to finish, if anyone fancies it.

Start: 2pm National Trust Car Park at New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. NGR: NY 296 064 (Note the late start time. Apologies, but I’m at a wedding the day before and can’t make it earlier.)

Time: about 4 hours
