If you would like to have a longer stay in this amazing area, B & J are staying in Honister Hause Youth Hostel, which is spectacularly located at the top of Honister Pass on Saturday night 3rd August. It is a basic 28 bed hostel and when we booked (23rd July) there were plenty of spaces available in twin rooms & dorms. It is about £20-25 depending on numbers and room-type. Also, if you would like an exciting climb up Fleetwith Pike there were spaces availble on the Honister Slate Mine Extreme Via Feratta at 3pm on Saturday 3rd August (£39.50 per person). Contact Babs (07843 567097) or book directly with the Youth Hostel Association and/or Honister Slate Mine.
