Meet at 7pm in the Brewery Arts Centre gardens (text if you can't find us: Charlotte 07580722866)

Mintfest is Kendal's annual festival of street theatre and art. For more info see: www.lakesalive.org

We will start off with drinks at the Brewery where there is live music and theatre (free) going on in the gardens and then walk down to Maude's meadow park to see the 'Fire Village' (£2 pay on the door). Friday 10 Aug - Social - Lakes Alive

Water Fools (Fous de Bassin) 9:30 in Keswick - Free

"French alchemists, Ilotopie (France) have won hearts across the world with their        beautiful shows on the streets and waterways of cities and towns.
Now they weave their ingenious magic in one of the Lake District’s loveliest locations, transforming the surface of Derwentwater into a fantastical watery-wonderland.
A man’s humdrum life is turned upside-down when his head inexplicably bursts into flames and a kaleidoscope of extraordinary things begin to happen…
Upon the Lake, underneath the stars, everyday objects transform into surreal mythical creatures, cars pull caravans, gods march into battle and a 5-metre high Queen gazes over her magical aquatic kingdom from the seat of a giant penny-farthing."

Cost of show is Free
Show time 9:30pm to 10:30pm
Location - Keswick Theatre by the Lake with the best view from neighbouring Crow Park
Contact Matthew on 07878352150 to organise car shares or to arrange to meet up.
I will be leaving Kendal at 8pm
Kendal Rugby Club is operating overflow car parking for £3
Anyone who wants to meet up in Keswick I suggest meeting up on the pavement outside the Keswick Mountain Rescue between 9:10pm and 9:15pm before we head into Crow park for the 9:30pm performance

Sat 16 Jun - Pub treasure hunt in Kendal

A 2 1/2 mile stroll around Kendal that visits 20 pubs with clues to solve. How many pubs you choose to visit is up to you!

We will meet in the Ring O Bells by Kendal Parish church at 7pm. We will then set off a few at a time to find the clues in the first three pubs before meeting for Pizza at the Brewery at 8pm. From here we will set off a few at a time to visit the other 17 pubs finishing at Burgundy's to compare answers from 9:30 onwards.

Please let Howard know if you plan on coming by Thursday 14th June so we know how many treasure hunt clue sheets to prepare and also how many to book for at the Brewery.
