Sun 19 Oct - Cancelled

Due to the adverse weather forecast for this Sunday, and the fact that no-one has indicated that they are coming, the walk is now cancelled.

Description: From Patterdale (149m!) we first head across the valley floor to Side Farm, and then take the bridleway (SE'ish) up to Boredale Hause (370m). We then bear left (N'ish), and continue up to the top of Place Fell (657m), before passing The Knight, Mortar Crag and High Dodd (501m). Then we'll drop down 300m'ish into the Boredale valley. After that it's up to just about the same height again, whilst 'taking in' Winter Crag (300m), Howstead Brow (330m), Beda Head (509m) and Beda Fell (450m). It's all (near'nuff) downhill from there, down to Boredale Hause and then back to Patterdale again.
