An ascent through the woods to gain the Whitbarrow plateau to the fine summit view point of Lord’s Seat (views to Morecambe Bay, North Wales & The Isle of Man on a clear day). Descend via the western scarp followed by a woodland stroll along the base.
Meet: 18:30hrs at SD 452 840. Take the road signed Millside/Beck Head just off the A590. Just after crossing the cattle grid parking can be found in a small layby or along the quiet road.
