The route takes us to the rarely visited hills between Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh. From Barbon, we will ascend via Eskholme Pike to Castle Knott (536 m) then head along the ridge to Calf Top (609 m). We'll then continue along the ridge before returning to Barbon along the Lune valley.
