Meet at the car park at Mardale Head at 10.00. The walk begins with a short stretch along the road before branching off along the old Corpse Road over Selside Pike. We then walk along to Branstree where (weather permitting) there are good views to the North Pennines, Howgills and Shap Fells as well as the High Street range. Return to the car park via Gatescarth Pass.
