Mar 4 - Silver How

We start with a reasonably steady walk up to Easedale tarn (910ft) passing the spectacular Sour Milk Gill. We then follow the ridge route on to Silver How (1730) and back to Grasmere. If visibility is good there are excellent views of the fells surrounding Grasmere. The walk is steep in places and the ground can be a little boggy at times, but there are no majorly difficult sections.

An alternative route may be taken if the weather is poor.

Distance: 6 miles
