Start: Low Tilberthwaite car park@ 9.30 Grid ref. NY 306 009 Turn sharp right off the A593 Ambleside to Coniston road about 1.5 miles before Coniston (second right after High Yewdale farm) Sign posted Tilberthwaite.

Total Ascent: 900+ metres
Duration: About 6 hours
Grade: 3/4 fairly strenuous at times and involving a bit of scrambling up Wetherlam Edge. If bad weather an alternative lower level walk will be done instead.
