Start - GR: 268 189. Take the B5289 south, out of Keswick, 2.5km minor road on the left taking you over Ashness Bridge, past Ashness Farm, next car park on the left, opposite the view point.
Time: 9.30am
We drop down to the southern most point of Derwent water, round to Brandelhow point, then pick up the Allderdale Ramble route to Seatoller, then onto Rosthwaite, over the top to Watendlath and then follow the river back to the cars
Distance: 17km. Grade 2 / 3, rocky underfoot in parts, mostly undulating with a couple of steep climbs. Highest point 320m.
There will be a tea shop stop on route - there are a few to choose from!
With Tea stop should take about 7 hours.
