Description: Ambleside (food re-supply possible?) / Stock Ghyll / Wansfell Pike / Nanny Lane / Troutbeck village / valley / Ing Lane / Ing & Hagg Bridges / above Limefitt Caravan Park / Troutbeck Church / Troutbeck village / Robin Lane / past Jenkin Crag / back
After walking through the park & Ambleside centre (food re-supply possible?) we head East, up parallel to Stock Ghyll, past the school / college. Then we'll head SE up Wansfell Pike (good views from the top), before descending down Nanny Lane (track) to Troutbeck village. Next it's an almost completely level section along the bottom of the Troutbeck valley on Ing Lane (path), crossing Ing Bridge & Hagg Bridge(!?), before coming back down the valley on t'other side. After passing above Limefitt Caravan Park, we'll head down to Troutbeck Church, then back up to Troutbeck village again. Then we head back to Ambleside, via Robin Lane & past Jenkin Crag (again!).
