Niall and Ruth are going to do a version of the Mardale Round. Rough plan starting from Haweswater to Gatescarth pass - Harter Fell (778 m) - Maredale Ill Bell (760 m) - High Street (828 m) - coming down Kidsty Pike (780 m). Approx total km = 13. Approx time = 6-8 hrs. Starting Grid Reference: 469107 - Haweswater Carpark at 10 am.
If the weather is poor or the snow is still deep (above fences last week on Harter Fell) we will do an alternative route. This will also start from 469107 at 10 am.
