Sunday 25th Jan - Buttermere and Rannerdale
This is a low level walk around Rannerdale and Buttermere of approximately 8 miles.
Meet at 10am at the National Trust car park (NY173172) on the left just out of Buttermere as you head NW to Crummock Water.
From there we'll head up the road for a short bit, then pick up a footpath around Rannerdale Knotts, heading round and up Squat Beck. We'll climb (a little!) up the valley, then drop back to the car park. From there the plan is to do a circuit around Buttermere - clock/anti-clock to be determined.
This should be a relatively easy walk. If the views are clear, then we can divert up Rannerdale Knotts as opposed to around it.
Estimated time 4-5hrs
Leader: Helen - mob 07753 160831
