Another evening walk and grade 5+ picnic, this time sampling the delights of the north Lancashire countryside.
Directions for evening walk/ picnic near Nicky Nook: Junction 33 of M6, 1st exit off roundabout (A6 south), follow A6 through Forton then watch out for sign to Scorton (prob 5 mins from roundabout) and turn left onto Station Lane which takes you into the village. Park on the roadside and meet outside the Priory pub in centre. If you miss the turning, don't panic! You can carry on down to Gubberford Lane (also signed Scorton) and approach from the other direction.
Meet 7:15pm and bring a picnic and walking gear - there is a hill offering fine views!
