Grade - strenuous
Distance - ~11 miles
Meet 9.45am, walk to start at 10am. Should take about 6 hours, possibly longer depending on group size, conditions, etc.
Starting at the little car park at the end of the village of Hartsop (grid ref - NY 409 130), we will go up to Hayeswater, ascend the Knott to High Street, descend Kidsty Pike to the shores of Haweswater, and looping back up the ridge of Riggindale, back onto High Street, on to Thornthwaite Crag, and down alongside pasture beck, back to Hartsop. Refreshments afterwards at the Brotherswater Inn.
