The weather forecast looks OK, so we will do the full 8 mile walk. Starting from Gosforth, we will head into Blengdale Forest, and return via Hall Bolton. The walk is fairly low-level, but there will be a bit of ascent (just short of 200 m in total, but fairly gentle). It's likely to be muddy in a couple of places, so gaiters are a good idea. We should be finished in 4 to 5 hours
